The All-American Rejects
The All-American Rejects is an American rock band with lead vocalist and bass guitarist Tyson Ritter, guitarists Nick Wheeler and Mike Kennerty, and drummer Chris Gaylor.

Their debut album, self-titled studio album, “The All-American Rejects” was released in 2002, producing the successful single "Swing, Swing".

The band’s second album, “Move Along”, released in 2005 brought the band more mainstream success. This album produced three hit singles: “It Ends Tonight”, “Dirty Little Secret” and “Move Along”.

Their third album, “When the World Comes Down”, released in 2008 was a success with the first single, “Gives You Hell” garnering much attention internationally. Another song from the same album, “Real World” is featured in the “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” soundtrack.
 
One Buck Short
One Buck Short is a Malaysian punk rock band from Kuala Lumpur, founded by Hafiz and Rahul during high school. The current band members are Mooky, Izal, Rahul and Imran.

One Buck Short has performed in opening acts for several international concerts including Fall Out Boys in Singapore, Good Charlotte, Panic at the Disco, and My Chemical Romance in Kuala Lumpur.

One Buck Short was nominated “Best Newcomer” in the first Hitz.FM Malaysian English Top 10 Awards in 2004. In 2006, the band was nominated “Best Rock and Best Live Act” in the Malaysian English Top 10 Awards.

“Fast Times” is a popular song from their first debut album, “Halal & Loving It”.
 
Disagree
Disagree is a Malaysian indie progressive rock band. The current band members are Mohamed Zahid Yon (vocals), Hamka (drums), Aziz (bass) and David (rhythm).

In 2005, Disagree was awarded “Most Airplay” in Hitz.FM’s Malaysian English Top 10 Awards, followed by “Best New English Language Artiste” at the 12th Anugerah Industri Muzik in Malaysia.

In 2006, they collaborated with Pop Shuvit to produce a song called Football Mad Nation and music video dedicated to football (soccer) fans during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

In 2007, Disagree became part of Nokia You Make It Reel, a competition for aspiring music video directors.

Disagree has released their latest album, “To Prevent The Earth From Moving With You” on 30th June 2009.
 
Pop Shuvit
Pop Shuvit is a Malaysian independent rap-rock band comprising Moots (vocals), JD (guitars), AJ (bass), Rudy (drums) and UNO (turntables). The band began making waves in the local music scene in late 2001 and since then, has had four successful releases under their belt and gained a sizable fanbase in Asia notably in Malaysia, Japan, Thailand and Singapore. Pop Shuvit is touted as Asia’s leading Hip Hop Rock band.

In 2003, Pop Shuvit released their debut album, “Take it & Shuvit” in Japan and became the first Malaysian band to hit the music chart in Japan. The success of their release led Pop Shuvit to conduct a tour in Japan in 2005 to support their second release, “Here & Now”.

The band has also released a dance remix album and a hip hop EP in 2004 and 2006 respectively.

In mid-2006, Pop Shuvit collaborated with Disagree, another Malaysian band, to produce the song Football Mad Nation in conjunction with the FIFA World Cup.

Pop Shuvit’s third album, “Amped & Dangerous” hit stores in Japan on 23 August 2006 without a release in the Malaysian market.

Pop Shuvit recently released their fourth Studio Album, “Freakshow Vol 1: Tales of The Travelling Tunes”.
